James Beard Awardee & Michelin-Starred Chef; Founder of Momofuku

David Chang is the chef and founder of Momofuku, which includes restaurants in New York City, Sydney, Toronto, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles, a casual chicken concept (Fuku), and a bakery (Milk Bar) established by award-winning pastry chef Christina Tosi with multiple locations. Since opening Noodle Bar in 2004, Chang has been honored with six James Beard Foundation Awards, including Rising Star Chef of the Year, Best Chef New York City, Best New Restaurant – Momofuku Ko, Outstanding Chef, and Who’s Who of Food and Beverage.

Momofuku Ko has two Michelin stars, which it has retained since 2009, and the restaurant is featured on the S. Pellegrino World's Best Restaurants list. Chang has been featured on the covers of Forbes Life and New York Magazine and recognized as one of TIME Magazine’s 100, Fortune’s “40 Under 40”, Fast Company’s “1000 most creative people in business”, and Esquire’s “most influential people of the 21st century”. He was also named GQ’s Man of the Year and continues contributing to the magazine.

Chang was the first chef to be featured on the Emmy-award-winning PBS television show "The Mind of a Chef." His cookbook "Momofuku" is a New York Times bestseller, and he has authored other notable books including "Cooking at Home" and "Eat A Peach". Chang has collaborated with Academy Award-winning Director Morgan Neville on a Netflix original documentary series, "Ugly Delicious," which debuted in February 2018, and he is also the creator of "Secret Chef" on Hulu.

Chang has hosted the award-winning podcast, "The Dave Chang Show," since January 2018, and co-hosts "Recipe Club." In 2019, Chang's company, Majordomo Media, partnered with Chrissy Teigen to create a slate of original food-related television programming for Hulu. He continues to explore new avenues in culinary arts as a contributor to Amazon’s Thursday Night Football, offering culinary insights. Chang is recognized for his insightful discussions on entrepreneurship, food sustainability, and kitchen innovation.
