David Landsman was appointed Executive Director of Tata Limited and representative of the Tata group in Europe in May 2013. The Tata group is a global enterprise headquartered in India and comprises over 100 operating companies generating $108 billion in revenues.

Dr Landsman helps drive Tata’s commitment to creating long-term sustainable value for the group and the communities it serves, aligning the broad range of corporate responsibility initiatives and promoting Tata’s priority skills agenda. As Chairman of the Tata Network Forum (Europe), Dr Landsman brings together the expertise of the Tata companies operating across Europe, including global brands such as Jaguar Land Rover, Tata Steel and Tetley Tea.

Prior to joining Tata, Dr Landsman was a career diplomat serving in a number of senior roles including Charge d’Affaires in Yugoslavia, Ambassador to Albania and Ambassador to Greece. He has a PhD in linguistics from Clare College, Cambridge.
