David Lang is an explorer, writer, and National Geographic Fellow. He is also the Co-founder of OpenROV, an underwater drone manufacturer and the co-creator of OpenExplorer, a digital field journal.

Lang is the author of "Zero to Maker", a memoir and guidebook. He is also a member of NOAA’s Ocean Exploration Advisory Board and is a TED Senior Fellow.
