Debby Hopkins is Citi's chief innovation officer and founder and CEO of Citi Ventures. She is responsible for accelerating and scaling innovation across Citi by imagining and developing products, services, business models and ways of working. Hopkins and her team partner with Citi's businesses and functions throughout the enterprise to shepherd creativity and implement pervasive solutions. Since joining Citi in 2003, Hopkins has served in executive roles including head of strategy and mergers and acquisitions, chief operations and technology officer, and senior advisor to the Global Investment Bank, a role she continues in today. Prior to Citi, she was chief financial officer at both Boeing and Lucent Technologies and vice president of finance at General Motors Europe. Hopkins serves on the board of Qlik Tech and has been a member of the board of DuPont. Fortune magazine has twice placed Hopkins among the 10 most powerful women in American business. She holds honorary doctorates from Westminster College and Walsh College.
