Deborah DeHaas is vice chairman and chief inclusion officer for Deloitte LLP. As central region managing partner, DeHaas leads the quality, client satisfaction, growth, marketplace and human resource initiatives for 23 offices with more than 9,000 professionals. As chief inclusion officer, DeHaas drives Deloitte's strategy to recruit, develop and promote a diverse workforce and foster an inclusive environment. DeHaas' community involvement and philanthropic efforts have led to her recognition by local and national organizations. She has received the 2010 City Year Chicago Ripples of Hope Award, Gerald J. Roper Business Professional of the Year Award, the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago 2008 Heritage Award, and the YWCA's 2006 Outstanding Women's Leaders Award for Community Leadership. She is a certified public accountant and a member of several state and national professional societies, including the AICPA and the Illinois CPA Society. DeHaas graduated from Duke University with a B.S. in management science and accounting.
