Dee Dee Helfenstein serves as a Senior Vice President in Booz Allen Hamilton’s Strategic Innovation Group. With more than 20 years of experience, she has held numerous executive level business, market, capability and sales leadership roles. She has led portfolios of over $250M comprised of strategy, digital, technology, and analytics solutions, and the structuring and capture of large complex deals ranging from $100M - $1.4B. In her current role she leads the firms Product Portfolio, Edge Technologies, Strategic Partnerships, and the Solutions Studio for rapid prototyping of integrated solutions to accelerate growth in markets across the firm.

Dee Dee is an accomplished business leader who thrives on energizing organizations and building businesses by enhancing innovation and developing solutions for a broad base of clients. She is often tapped to be the “spark” of change and to turnaround declining businesses or address client’s toughest problems. Dee Dee’s experience spans numerous industries, including financial services, healthcare, transportation, government, and commercial.

She is an authority on Organizational Transformation speaking or moderating panels at venues such as SXSW, Management Consulting Institute, etc. Over her tenure she has led several of government’s largest transformation initiatives for agencies including the Treasury, DHS, and the Navy.

Dee Dee earned a BS from Virginia Tech in Psychology. She is an instructor for the Change Management Advanced Practitioner Program, an advanced degree credit program put on in partnership with Georgetown McDonough School of Business. Dee Dee is on the Board of Directors of the Management Consulting Institute and the Corporate Advisory Board for Capital Partners for Education (CPE). In addition, to her support of MCI and CPE, Dee Dee is a former Board Member of Suited for Change and has led numerous pro-bono engagements for organizations such as Girls Inc. and Suited for Change.
