Leadership and Handling Pressure: Road to succeeding in tough situations
Throughout my leadership roles in my career I have encountered numerous situations that involved pressure and uncertainty. Whether it be leading a TEDx Conference, being in a close match on the field, or on the other side as a coach of a losing team I have learned that the most efficient way to handle pressure as a leader is to remain calm. By maintaining calmness you not only put your state of mind in a comfortable situation but also others around you. As a leader you set yourself apart as a role model and let yourself grow as you sink in the pressure making you stronger. There will be numerous obstacles in your journey of life, but if we take the route of addressing the issues in a relaxed state of mind we will often end up taking the right steps to succeed.
