Deepica Mutyala

Founder and CEO of Live Tinted

Deepica Mutyala is a South-Asian beauty entrepreneur, businesswoman, and founder and CEO of Live Tinted, a multicultural community about beauty and culture. She was named one of TIME Magazine's 'Next Generation Leaders', and she partnered with Mattel to launch the first ever South Asian CEO Barbie Doll.

Mutyala launched her YouTube channel in January 2015 around the premise of “beauty decoded”. Her second video on how to mask under eye circles with lipstick went viral, garnering over 10 million views from women all over the world. A flurry of broadcast and editorial opportunities followed, including appearances on The TODAY Show and Dr. Oz.

In 2018 Mutyala launched Live Tinted, a digital community focused on inclusive, diverse beauty. The community helps shapes a storytelling platform focused on underrepresented people in beauty, and their journeys with culture and identity. Live Tinted's multicultural community offers a place to discuss all things beauty and culture, and have those discussions lead product development. This led to the development of the Huestick: a 4-in-1 multistick to be used as a color corrector to balance discoloration and dark spots under makeup, and as an eye shadow, blush and lipstick. Live Tinted's Unity Balm Gloss was the 2020 winner of Oprah Magazine's best multi-use balm.
