Deirdra Richardardson, a woman who knows her worth, is a renowned speaker willing to come to your group to speak, impart information, empower others and share her story. Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey she graduated from Barringer Senior High in 1979 and attended Essex County College that fall as a full time student. While in school she gained employment as Bank Teller and abandoned college life. In 1983 she gave birth to her 1st child, James and in 1984 welcomed a Khiara to family. Soon after she and her 2 children boarded a bus heading west relocating to Compton, California. Upon settling in California she enrolled in a Dental Laboratory Technician Program and held a full time job as a cashier with Home Depot. Deirdra would once again find herself comforted by having the hours of a Banker, especially with baby # 3, Megen born in 1989 and #4 Blair making his appearance 1991. In 1992 the family packed up and relocated to Atlanta GA where baby #5 Megers was born in 1993. Wanting to stay in GA with a spouse that didnt, proved to be yet another obstacle in her life. Finding herself back in New Jersey unhappy she and her family moved to Baltimore Maryland where she would be for the next 15 years. While in Maryland Deirdra continued to nurture her children, divorce and earn her BS degree from Amridge University in Human Resource Leadership/Communications. In the midst of joy and pain Deirdra graduated cum laude while maintaining a full time career with the Girls Scouts of Central MD as a Program/Outreach Specialist. Here she worked with volunteers, girls, teens and their mothers on many platforms especially those including issues of self-esteem. She developed Sisters Ultimately Achieving Valued Empowerment (S.U.A.V.E.), Diversity Issues Valued Among Sisters (D.I.V.A.S) and wrote winning grants for the funding of the ACE of Space Science Program.

Deirdra is a very active Toastmaster earning awards as a Competent Communicator, Competent Leader, Advanced Communicator Bronze, Advanced Leader Bronze, Advanced Communicator Silver and the High Performance Leadership Excellence Award. She is the winner of speech contests and has served as a Club Vice President of Public Relations, Area Governor, Certified Judge, Certified Leadership Trainer, Division Governor and Club Coach. Deirdra is well on her way to earning Distinguished Toastmaster, the highest honor in the Toastmasters Program.

She has also served on many Non-Profit Boards holding positions as Speakers Bureau Coordinator, Conference Chair, Marketing/Public Relations Director and Inspirational Coach. She graciously shares her story, her work and the tools necessary to coach others towards the transforming of their lives. Deirdra can and will deliver great speaker content for your audiences in any format.
