Delanie Walker is a former professional football player known for his career as a tight end in the NFL. Walker's career began at Mt. San Antonio College and later continued at the University of Central Missouri. While there, he played college football and was later inducted into the Central Missouri Athletic Hall of Fame on February 14, 2015. He was drafted in the sixth round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers and played a key role in helping the team reach Super Bowl XLVII.

Walker spent seven seasons each with the San Francisco 49ers and the Tennessee Titans. His career saw a significant rise after signing with the Tennessee Titans in 2013. With the Titans, Walker established himself as a leading tight end, earning three consecutive Pro Bowl selections from 2015 to 2017 and was named to his first career Pro Bowl in 2015 after leading all NFL tight ends with 94 receptions. He was also named the 2018 Pro Bowl offensive MVP. He set a Titans record for a tight end with 1,088 receiving yards in 2015 and holds Titans franchise records for most receiving touchdowns by a tight end, most receptions in a season by a tight end, and most receiving yards in a season by a tight end. He was also ranked by his peers on the NFL Top 100 Players of 2016 & 2018.

Walker is also recognized for his charitable efforts, particularly through his foundation, the Delanie Walker Gives Back Foundation. The organization focuses on providing educational and recreational opportunities to underserved youth, reflecting Walker's commitment to empowering future generations. He has been nominated for the NFL's Walter Payton Man of the Year Award for his philanthropic work.

Walker retired from the NFL in 2022. Since retiring, he has moved into media, co-hosting the weekly NFL and college football show "The Locker Room," presented by the "Bussin With The Boys" podcast, alongside former Titans teammates Will Compton and Taylor Lewan.
