Ms. Zagarzazú currently mobilizes the presence of Three Squares Inc in Latin America, an American environmental consulting firm working on fostering sustainable companies, cities and events among other projects. In 2011 the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) named Delfina a Young Leader for Latin America in Environmental Issues. She currently holds a seat in the IDB’s Civil Society Consulting Group for Environmental Issues for Uruguay.

In 2012 she mobilized the International Youth Campaign Rio+You/Rio+Vos (www.riomasvos.org) with support from the AVINA Foundation and various local actors, as a national campaign in Uruguay to raise awareness on the United Nations Rio+20 Conference. She promotes projects that integrate the building blocks of sustainable cities, serving as one of the Coordinators of the Red de Ciudades Sustentables. Ms. Zagarzazú is one of the organizers for the first Tedx Punta del Este 2013 Edition.

A native Uruguayan, she is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Seton Hall University and holds a Bachelor's of Science in International Relations and Economics from the John C. Whitehead School of Diplomacy. She aims to deepen her knowledge in biodiversity valuation, social business innovation and food security. She became a strong Barca futbol fan while growing up in Barcelona and prefers to look at the bright side of things and people.
