Denequa Williams-Clarke is the founder of LIT Brooklyn, a luxury hand-poured soy wax candle company. She is also passionate about helping other black women entrepreneurs find their footing and build their businesses.

In 2019, Williams-Clarke appeared in the documentary She Did That, which provides an in-depth look at the lives of black women entrepreneurs such as Williams-Clarke.

Prior to founding LIT Brooklyn in August 2015, Williams-Clarke held a number of positions including Sales Associate, Supervisor/Personal Stylist, and Assistant Manager at Zadig & Voltaire.

Williams-Clarke holds a bachelor's degree in Africana Studies from the State University of New York (SUNY).
