Actor; Tony Award Nominee; Known for "Basic Instinct"

Denis Arndt made his Broadway debut alongside Mary-Louise Parker in Simon Stephens' Heisenberg. Arndt is best known for his roles in L.A. Law, Annie McGuire and Basic Instinct; additional screen appearances include Grey’s Anatomy, Past Life, Boston Legal, 24 and Providence. Stage credits include The Tempest, King Lear, Othello, Richard II and The Ballad of Soapy Smith.

One of those "working actors" whose face is more recognizable to the audience than his name, Denis Arndt worked extensively in regional theater in the Pacific Northwest before cracking the small screen as Mary Tyler Moore's husband on "Annie McGuire" (CBS, 1988-89), and an attorney who beats then joins the law firm of MacKenzie Brackman on NBC's "L. A. Law" during the 1990-91 season. In 1996, Arndt was among the doctors trying to stop a deadly virus on the short-lived UPN series "The Burning Zone."
