In fact, in 1998 Dennis rocketed into the Guinness Book of World Records for having won the most X-Games medals ‹ two silver and two bronze in just two years of competition. Dennis would probably have a couple more medals if he hadn¹t broken his leg during the qualifying rounds for the 1998 X-Games. DRom made a full recovery from his injury and today consistently ranks among the top street lugers in the world.

With each additional competition under his belt (and scorching wheels), Dennis would get faster and better. At the 1999 X-Games, his vigorous training and athletic conditioning turned to gold. dRom won the Gold Medal in the two-man event in a field that included his long-time rival Biker Sherlock.
