Diana Contreras holds the position of Chief Health Innovation Officer at Planned Parenthood Federation of America. A board-certified ob/gyn, she also completed fellowship training in gynecologic oncology.

In her role at Planned Parenthood, she is responsible for increasing the organization's health care effectiveness and capacity by capitalizing on its role as a leader in sexual and reproductive health. She oversees the health care division teams responsible for medical services, standards and guidelines, consortium of abortion providers, health care operations, patient experience, quality care, and health equity.

Contreras has an MPH in health care administration and policy from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University, an MD from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, and an undergraduate degree in history, Latin American studies, and women studies from Princeton University.
