Diana Raab, MFA, PhD is an award-winning author, poet, lecturer, and speaker. She holds a PhD in Psychology with a concentration in Transpersonal Psychology, and a research focus on the healing and transformative powers of writing.

Raab is the author of ten books, including four poetry collections, and is the editor of two anthologies. Her most recent work includes Writing for Bliss: A 7-Step Plan for Telling Your Story and Transforming Your Life which Publishers Weekly called "thoughtful" and "compelling," and it's follow-up, Writing for Bliss: A Companion Journal. WRITING FOR BLISS: A COMPANION JOURNAL (January 2019).

Writing since the age of 10, when her mother gave her a Khalil Gibran journal to help her cope with her grandmother's suicide, Raab has used writing throughout her life as a means of healing and transforming—and has inspired hundreds of others to do the same. She is an on-going contributor to Psychology Today, PsychCentral, and Thrive Global and writes regularly for several others. She's taught at The Open Center, Metroversity 1440, Hugo House, Santa Barbara Writers Conference and many others. She teaches an on-line memoir writing on DailyOM.
