Dickon Pinner    

Senior Partner & Leader of the Resource Productivity Practice at McKinsey & Company; Sustainability Activist

Dickon Pinner is a senior partner in McKinsey and Company’s San Francisco office, where he co-founded and leads McKinsey’s Sustainability Practice globally, focusing on energy transitions, future of mobility, circular economy, sustainability investing and financing, biosystems and land use, carbon economics, and resilience and adaptation.

Previously, he was a partner and consultant in McKinsey’s Global Semiconductor Practice for 13 years. Prior to his 18-year McKinsey career, Pinner was a reservoir engineer at Shell. While earning his PhD in the physics of organic semiconductor devices from Cambridge University, he was a research scientist at CDT, a Sumimoto Chemical company. Pinner was also a Fulbright Scholar.
