The Green Bay Packers claimed LB Diyral Briggs off waivers from Denver on October 26, 2010.

Briggs, whose first name is pronounced DIE-rell, is a 6-foot-3, 248-pound first-year player out of Bowling Green who entered the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers as a non-drafted free agent in May 2009. He appeared in four games for the 49ers in 2009 and one this season before being released in September. Briggs was then signed to Denver’s practice squad before being elevated to the active roster, and he appeared in one game for the Broncos. He will wear No. 53.
