In an industry dominated by males, DJ Traci Steele emerges as a hard-hitting DJ, radio personality and television star groomed to take center stage. DJ Traci Steele hails from Bronx, New York, but started her career in radio part-time at Hampton University in Virginia Beach. Later she moved on to the hard-hitting hip-hop urban radio station at Virginia Beach's WWHV (Hot 102.1 FM). While there, she grew not only as an on-air personality, but as a DJ taking on gigs at local clubs and parties.

In her desire to move to a larger market, Traci landed in Atlanta where she can now be heard on the No. 1 hip hop station in the "A" Hot 107.9. She built up a name for herself in the Atlanta market and eventually landed a position with one of the biggest artists in hip hop and R&B Musiq SoulChild. This gig has taken her across the US and overseas. She has toured with the likes of Ne-yo and Jazmine Sullivan to name a few. She toured with Musiq SoulChild for two years then moved on to DJ for corporations such as Coca-Cola. She has also performed on national television shows like Good Morning America, CNN, Bounce TV's "Off The Chain," 106 and Park and was a cast member on "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" season two on VH1.
