Dominik Rausch

Producer / CEO, United Motion Entertainment

Dominik Rausch, born and raised in Stuttgart, Germany, began to write and produce short films at a young age. After starting out as a documentary filmmaker, and moving to Los Angeles in 2007, he discovered that it is narrative and commercial filmmaking, where his true strengths and passions are.

Rausch launched United Motion Entertainment - a transmedia development and production company - in 2010 with the focus on delivering a new level of digital franchise experience for brands that range from film, music, and publishing to consumer products.

A leader in the field of Branded Entertainment, Dominik was previously a producer of online entertainment for Horizon Media, CJP Digital, and Mofilm commercial spots. Rausch is best known for producing ‘Easy To Assemble’ (sponsored by IKEA), starring Illeana Douglas and Jeff Goldblum, which with over 17 million views world-wide is publicly acclaimed as one of the most successful digital Branded Entertainment series to date. Other brands include Trident Gum, Ace Hardware, Party City, and Wal Mart.

Dominik’s producing work in feature film includes a forthcoming documentary starring Keanu Reeves, the Warner Brothers indie ‘April Showers’ with Tom Arnold, and ‘Speed-Dating’ with Chris Elliot.

In 2009, he was invited to join the Producers Guild of America, where he was mentored by Bill Fay (then Pres. of Production, Legendary Pictures), and nominated for Variety’s Digital 25 of 2011.

He can frequently be seen as guest speaker at both public events as well as classes in the US and Europe.
