Dominik Stein

Cofounder, VERTS Mediterranean Grill

When Stein traveled from his native Germany to study abroad in Dallas, he found himself missing some of his favorite European dishes -- including Döner kebabs, a type Turkish street food. From this craving, VERT Mediterranean Grill (originally Verts Kebap) was born. The fast-casual chain now has 36 locations around the country, and $36 million in investment capital.
