Don Riddell is the co-presenter of CNN Today and World News with Zain Verjee, based in the network's London bureau. Riddell has spent seven years with the network, during which time he has travelled extensively; filing stories from dozens of different countries and every major continent.

In the field, he provided extensive coverage of the G20 summit in London and the Olympic Torch Relay protest, and from the studio he has anchored rolling coverage of the conflict in Gaza, the 2008 US election, the Mumbai terror attacks and The Popes historic visit to the Middle East.

Riddell joined CNN in 2002 as the London anchor of World Sport, and subsequently became the host of Living Golf. He has interviewed many of the worlds top athletes, including Tiger Woods, Annika Sorenstam, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Lewis Hamilton. He has broadcast live from The Ryder Cup, The Open, The Rugby World Cup, The Tour de France and five consecutive Champions League finals.

In addition to his broadcast work, Riddell has had a large number of columns printed in broadsheets and magazines throughout the world.

Prior to joining CNN in 2002, Riddell worked in British regional television; starting on Calendar News with Yorkshire Television (YTV) in Leeds, and the London News Network (LNN), where he worked as a presenter and reporter for the London Tonight programme.

In 1998, Riddell was invited to meet the Queen at Buckingham Palace, having been identified as one of the nations young achievers by the Independent Television Commission. He has run both the London and New York Marathons.

Riddell has a Bachelors degree with honours in Public Media/Communication and Cultural Studies from Leeds University.
