Donatella Arpaia can be seen on the Food Network as a head judge for Iron Chef America, is a regular contributor to the Today Show and is owner of Donatella Ristorante & Kefi Restaurant in NYC. After a brief period as a corporate attorney, she re-discovered the undeniable passion that began as a child spending summers in Naples & Puglia, the birthplace of her parents. Donatella opened her first restaurant, Bellini, in 1998 and subsequently lent her brand and expertise to a string of successful and highly acclaimed restaurants, including davidburke & donatella, Kefi, and the Michelin starred Anthos to name a few. Zagat crowned Donatella as "hostess with the mostest" and the New York Post named her one of the "most powerful women" in Manhattan. She lives in New York with her son, Alessandro and her husband, world renowned heart surgeon Dr. Allan Stewart.
