Donnie Brown is considered one of the leading wedding and event planners in the industry today. Having been in the industry for more than three decades, he has helped to transform the landscape of how we see weddings and is sought after for his expertise and trend-setting ideas.
He starred in "Whose Wedding is it Anyway" on the Style Network for eleven seasons and is noted for being the first event planner on television in a wedding series. He also starred in "Married Away" on the same network for three seasons and has been spotted on a host of other television programs as well. These include Platinum Weddings on WETV, specials on Style Network, NBC, and ABC. He is a regular guest on Good Morning Texas on the north Texas ABC affiliate.
He has been profiled and quoted in every fashion and wedding magazine you can find on the newsstand.
He is the author of "Donnie Brown Weddings: from the couture to the cake" and has other books in the works at this time.
When not planning weddings and other events, he travels the world speaking to both fans as well as industry groups. He is a member of The Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) and serves on the advisory board of Wedding Planner Magazine.
He was born in Lubbock Texas and attended Monterey High School and Texas Tech University prior to advancing onto the national scene.
