Doug Schadewald is an American Equity Index Volatility Trader for Barclays.

He runs Barclays' S&P 500 and VIX derivatives portfolio, one of the biggest options books on Wall Street, which trades billions of dollars in notional value daily. In addition, he is a member of the Chicago Futures Exchange's advisory committee and was selected to be in Forbes 30 Under 30​ in 2018 for the category of Finance.

Doug attended Harvard.​ where he was a Member of the Heavyweight Crew Team, Head Trader of Charles River Growth Fund, President of the Owl Club, and member of the Harvard College Business Club. He graduated in 2011 with a degree in Applied Mathematics​ with Economics​.
