Dr. Amera McCoy, is an Industrial-Organizational Psychologist, Owner and Founder of McCoy Consulting LLC and Minority Business Circle. Dr. McCoy offers organizations and Leaders coaching, classes, consulting, and content writing. Before starting her own business, she held leadership roles with top financial companies, including JPMorgan and CME Group. Her approach to speaking is based on her unique perspective as a minority woman with hands-on experience as a leader working with teams, peers, executives and various company initiatives including diversity and inclusion and performance management.

Dr. McCoy is a member of the Forbes Coaches Council and produces Business advice, opinions and articles for Forbes.com. She has authored over 15 articles on Company Culture, DEI and Employee Perspectives.

Dr. McCoy continues to leverage her business acumen and writing skills to assist businesses and individuals with reaching their highest potential. Dr. McCoy received her Ph.D. in Business Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is an active member of the National Small Business Asoociation Leadership Council and resides in Chicago, IL, with her nine-year-old daughter.
