Law Enforcement Advocate and Strategist

Dr. Demetrick Pennie is eighteen-year veteran police sergeant with the Dallas Police Department. He is also the President and Executive Director, respectively, of two non-profit police-support organizations: Dallas Fallen Officer Foundation and Texas Fallen Officer Foundation. Dr. Pennie is a public-figure with strong ties to the law enforcement community. He holds a Doctorate of Education in Higher Education from Texas Tech University and has conducted extensive research on issues relating to: criminal law and justice, college campus safety, radicalized movements in America, terrorism, and cultural diversity. Dr. Pennie is revered as one of the top law enforcement advocates in the nation because of his public fight in the federal lawsuits against Black Lives Matter and Facebook, Google and Twitter for inciting violence against police officers.

Dr. Pennie has been featured as a regular contributor on Fox Business Risk & Reward and other media outlets including: The Blaze, CBS News, and ESPN. He has been chronicled and quoted in several mainstream news articles such as: Breitbart, The Hill, Fox News, New York Daily News, Washington Post, and others. He has also been featured on many radio talk shows including: Sean Hannity, Larry Elder, Bob Frantz, etc.

As a youth, growing up in Houston, Texas during a time when drugs and shooting violence was a normal way of life, Pennie learned to become a strategic thinker in an effort to overcome obstacles in his life. No stranger to adversity, at the age of 16 his worldview changed after witnessing his female cousin being murdered days before her wedding day in a senseless act of violence. Witnessing the professionalism of the police response, Pennie was inspired to become a police officer himself. This career path created the impetus for Pennie to join the U.S. Army as a way to circumvent his dire circumstances. After serving 4-years of honorable service, he was hired by the Dallas Police Department, where he began to hone his professional knowledge, skills and experience.

Dr. Pennie rose in notoriety after he aided Cleveland Browns running back Isaiah Crowell in revitalizing his career his after the professional football player shared a violent image of a police officer having his throat slit by a revolutionary fighter.
