Dr. Eric Anderman  

Dr. Anderman is a professor of Educational Psychology and Chair of the Department of Educational Studies at The Ohio State University. He is one of only a few experts on academic cheating (why it happens and how to prevent it).

Dr. Anderman is an internationally recognized expert on academic motivation and academic cheating. He received his Ph.D. in Education and Psychology at the University of Michigan in 1994, and an Ed.M. in Education from Harvard in '86. Dr. Anderman's is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and the American Educational Research Association, and he has published many peer-reviewed articles on motivation and cheating. He is the author of "Classroom motivation" and co-editor of the following publications: "International handbook of student achievement," "Psychology of classroom learning: An encyclopedia," and "Psychology of academic cheating."
