Harry Teitelbaum is the President of Visionaries Global, a boutique international education consultant group headquartered in Plano, TX. Dr. Teitelbaum’s distinguished career as a professional educator includes serving as teacher, principal, district superintendent, professor, Fulbright Scholar, and dean of a college of education. Under Dr. Teitelbaum’s tenure as Dean of the College of Education at Jacksonville University, former President Bush recognized the achievements of one of the College’s professional development schools by personally awarding it with the highest education award from the U. S. Department of Education.

Dr. Teitelbaum is internationally known for his writings and presentations on leadership, recruitment, public/private partnerships, preservice education, induction, mentoring and connoisseurship. His presentations at UNESCO's international conference in Paris and the MOFET Institute in Tel-Aviv won national recognition by the former President of the American Association of Colleges of Teacher Education. He has made over thirty-five international presentations as a Fulbright Scholar and National Science Foundation Fellow. He currently is an adjunct professor at Texas Woman’s University where he teaches students how to become effective teachers, teachers how to become effective principals, and principals how to become effective superintendents. Dr. Teitelbaum also teaches a course on organizational dynamics in the master’s program in liberal studies at Southern Methodist University.

A textbook published by McGraw-Hill entitled, The Induction Year: A Case Study Approach, was used in university classrooms through the 1990s and, as of this writing, Dr. Teitelbaum has conducted over one hundred presentations/workshops at local, state, regional, national, and international venues.

Dr. Teitelbaum has recently been certified as an international trainer by the Center for Teacher Effectiveness qualifying him to train professional educators in the evidenced based, data driven classroom management model, The Time to Teach Program. His company, Visionaries Global, continues to serve as the appointed U. S. representative for the College of St. Mark & St. John in Plymouth, England.

Harry Teitelbaum earned his masters and doctorate degrees from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where he served as Ford Foundation Fellow. His wife, Sharyn, retired from teaching after thirty-five years in the profession. Their proudest achievements are their four daughters, Emily, Stefani, Melissa, and Jennifer and three grandchildren, Joshua, Jordan, and Jeremy.
