Physician, Professor of Medicine at the NYU Langone Medical Center, Author, and Contributor to Fox News

With a PhD from Northwestern in political parties and political behavior, he served as a consultant to the Today show during the 2000 presidential election where he was interviewed by Katie Couric, Matt Lauer and David Bloom. Dr. Siegel was also interviewed on election night by Tom Brokaw during the NBC election night coverage and appeared repeatedly on MSNBC, ABC, CBS and Fox during the 2000 electoral crisis. He has appeared on BBC, VOA and countless international radio and TV networks as the premier expert on the US Electoral College.He serves as President of Mark A. Siegel & Associates and International Public Strategies, domestic and international lobbying firms, respectively, based in Washington, D.C. Dr. Siegel is also a member of the Board of Directors of the National Democratic Institute of International Affairs, where he chairs the institute"€™s operations in Asia. He previously served as legislative assistant to Senator Hubert Humphrey, Executive Director of the Democratic National Committee and Deputy Assistant to the President during the Carter Administration. Dr. Siegel travels from Washington, D.C.
