Noella Cypress West has been working at Tampa General Hospital since 1996. She is currently the Lead APP for Medicine and Neuroscience and was just recognized 2020 Nurse Practitioner Preceptor of the Year. She has assisted in obtaining Joint Commission Disease Specific Certification as well as Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program and Recertification as a Comprehensive Stroke Center.

She has presented at international, AANP national conferences, featured in national nursing magazine, as well as serving as Adjunct Professor at the University of Tampa as well as the University of South Florida School of nursing. West also organizes a yearly Community Stroke Retreat to benefit stroke survivors and their caregivers. West is married and the proud mother of two beautiful children and enjoys spending time with her family.
