Dr. Vidya Raman-Tangella, currently the Chief Medical Officer at Teladoc Health, is responsible for leading the company's clinical vision, working cross-functionally to improve health outcomes for members, and ensuring the best-possible quality care is delivered when and where it’s needed. With a passion for science, she is a seasoned healthcare innovation and strategy executive.

Prior to her role at Teladoc Health, Dr. Raman-Tangella served as the general manager of healthcare and life sciences solutions at Amazon subsidiary, Amazon Web Services (AWS), where she became a certified cloud practitioner. At AWS, she led the strategy and vision for healthcare solutions and helped establish a formal function to develop a portfolio of technology and data-driven solutions for the healthcare ecosystem. She has also held leadership roles at healthcare companies including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Johnson & Johnson, and United Healthcare, where she led the design of integrated health and wellness solutions for employers and healthcare plans.

Located in the New York City Metropolitan Area, Dr. Raman-Tangella is a Cornell University alumni, where she earned a Master of Health Administration degree. She also holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, MBBS degree from Osmania University in Hyderabad, one of India’s leading medical schools. She is a sought-after speaker, having appeared in Forbes discussing Teladoc's virtual care, and has been recognized for her contributions in the field with awards like the "Woman Worth Watching" by Profiles in Diversity Journal, and a “Top 40 Healthcare Transformer” by Medical & Marketing Media.
