Dr. Vidya Raman-Tangella is responsible for leading our clinical vision, working cross-functionally to improve health outcomes for our members, and ensuring we deliver the best-possible quality care when and where it’s needed.

Prior to joining Teladoc Health, Dr. Raman-Tangella served as general manager of healthcare and life sciences solutions at Amazon subsidiary, Amazon Web Services (AWS). At AWS, she led the strategy and vision for healthcare solutions and helped establish a formal function to develop a portfolio of technology and data-driven solutions for the healthcare ecosystem. Prior to that, Dr. Raman-Tangella held leadership roles at healthcare companies including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Johnson & Johnson, and United Healthcare, where she led the design of integrated health and wellness solutions for employers and healthcare plans

Dr. Raman-Tangella earned a Master of Health Administration degree from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, MBBS degree from Osmania University in Hyderabad, one of India’s leading medical schools. She’s a sought-after speaker and was named a “Woman Worth Watching” by Profiles in Diversity Journal, and a “Top 40 Healthcare Transformer” by Medical & Marketing Media.
