Drew Bledsoe

Former NFL Quarterback Known for his Time with the New England Patriots

A 14-Year NFL veteran, 4-time Pro Bowler, and Super Bowl Champion, Drew Bledsoe possesses an engaging personality, highlighted by his infectious energy and football acumen.

As a former #1 overall 1993 NFL Draft pick from Washington State, Bledsoe played a pivotal role in rebuilding the Patriots franchise during his 9 seasons with the team and would go on to set many records that still stand today. Bledsoe holds the NFL record for passing attempts in a single season (691 in 1994). In a Week 11 matchup against the Vikings in that 1994 season, Bledsoe set single game passing records with attempts (70) and completions (45). This performance and the Patriots win sparked a seven-game win streak, ultimately leading the Patriots to the playoffs for the first time in 8 years. While his tenure with the Patriots, coached by Bill Parcells, Pete Carroll, and eventually Bill Belichick, was eclipsed by Tom Brady, Bledsoe played a crucial role during their first Super Bowl-winning season, when he relieved an injured Brady to help win the 2001 AFC Championship. In 2011, Bledsoe was inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame.

After his accomplished NFL career, Bledsoe became a captivating public speaker, giving chalk talks and Q&As where he interacts with his community and fans. Bledsoe explored his entrepreneurial side in 2007, when he and his wife opened the Bledsoe Family Winery, a vineyard that sells their Doubleback wines. Bledsoe values his family above all else and coached his sons’ football team throughout high school. He is dedicated to making a positive impact in his community and founded the Drew Bledsoe Foundation as a tool to successfully help people throughout the country. Through this foundation, Bledsoe has been able to promote his non-profit program, “Parenting with Dignity,” which encourages parents and caregivers to take on a dynamic parenting approach and guide children to act responsibly, with greater independence, when away from parents.

Outside of football, Bledsoe speaks on topics where his experience and insight help better his community through his core values of determination, sincerity, and loyalty.
