Yoeri Albrecht is an independent journalist, producer, media adviser and opinion leader. Albrecht expresses his opinions on many topics in radio and television shows, motion pictures, newspapers, magazines and at conferences. He has made several television shows and documentaries and hosts his own radioshow. His documentary about the Palio in Siena won two Golden Calf Awards (a prestigious Dutch prize for motion pictures).

Yoeri Albrecht has studied history and international law at Leyden University. He was a Junior Dean at Queen's College in Oxford for three years. He taught 'The Idea of Europe' at Oxford University. He advised the Boards of Directors of British Petroleum and Fortis and a private banker on their European strategies. He was awarded a Marshall Memorial Fellowship in 2005 and travelled the US.

Yoeri Albrecht is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and the American Foundation Humanity in Action.
