Dustin Volz is a DC-based journalist for The Wall Street Journal who reports on cybersecurity and intelligence. Previously Dustin covered cybersecurity and surveillance at Reuters, and before that he was a staff correspondent for National Journal, where he covered tech policy and breaking news. His work has also appeared in The Washington Post, The Center for Public Integrity, and The Arizona Republic. Dustin is a graduate of Arizona State University and a publisher of Downtown Devil, a hyper-local news site serving the downtown Phoenix community. Before beginning his journalism career, Dustin spent nine months teaching English at a high school in Indonesia through a Fulbright scholarship. He has also reported from Germany and the Dominican Republic.
