Dwayne "Spike" Booker currently serves as the Chief Training Officer for Afterburner. He is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse background in aviation, leadership, and community engagement. As the Chief Training Officer for Afterburner, he brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role. His impressive journey from a physics graduate to a distinguished military pilot showcases his dedication and commitment to service and excellence.

With 2500+ flight hours Spike is a combat veteran, having flown the United States Air Force's powerful F-15E Strike Eagle on Operation Resolve in Iraq and Syria. Initially not believing he had what it takes to be a fighter pilot, a chance encounter with a recruiting officer had a significant impact on Spike's life, resulting in him being Commissioned through ROTC in 2010 with a Physics degree from Morehouse College, he became a United States Air Force Fighter Pilot!

As Director of Operations for the 2nd Fighter Training Squadron, he excelled in leadership, overseeing adversary air replication for the F22 Formal Training unit. Additionally, he continues to serve in the Florida Air National Guard, collaborating closely with NORAD & U.S. Northern Command in homeland defense.
