Earl Stevens, known professionally as E-40, is a prominent American rapper, entrepreneur, and actor. He is a pioneer of the Bay Area hip-hop scene and has been a key figure in West Coast rap since the early 1990s. E-40 is renowned for his distinctive voice, unique slang, and innovative delivery, which have influenced many artists in the hip-hop genre.

E-40’s music career began in the late 1980s when he formed The Click, a rap group with his cousins and siblings, and founded Sick Wid It Records. Beyond music, E-40 is a successful entrepreneur, particularly in the food and beverage industry. He has launched his own line of wines, called Earl Stevens Selections, and various alcoholic beverages, including a line of beers and a brand of tequila. His business ventures also extend to investments in tech startups and real estate.
