Eddie George

NFL Legend & 1995 Heisman Trophy Winner; Actor; Entrepreneur

With his passionate and competitive spirit, Eddie George has carved a special niche for himself in the professional sports arena, particularly the NFL where he is only the second NFL running back to rush for 10,000 yards while never missing a start, joining Jim Brown. Only Walter Payton (170) has started more consecutive regular-season games than George’s 128. In addition to the Heisman Trophy, George won several NFL Rookie of the Year awards in 1996, and was the Tennessee Titans’ starting tailback until 2003.

Throughout his tenure as one of the NFL’s premier running backs, Eddie George not only possessed an explosive combination of speed, power and toughness, but was the epitome of durability. George’s punishing north-and-south running style won him the 1997 AP’s “Offensive Rookie of the Year” honors as well as four consecutive trips to the Pro Bowl from 1998-2001. Drafted in the first round by the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans, George owns virtually every franchise rushing record. He also led the AFC Champion Titans to Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000. Eddie also spent one season playing for the Dallas Cowboys.

After donning the NFL shield as an all-pro running back for ten years, Eddie George has evolved into a modern day Renaissance Man. Since the season ended and he became a free agent again, Eddie has broadened his work as a philanthropist by donating his time and money to various charities, including his own non-profit organization, Visions with Infinite Possibilities (V.I.P). His contributions can be felt beyond the world of sports and into areas such as music, film & television, education, health and fitness, and social awareness. Eddie is also involved in many entrepreneurial endeavors, as well. He is founder and part owner of The EDGE GROUP and “Eddie’s Sports Grill” in Columbus, OH, and has investments in real estate and fashion.

Eddie’s entered the world of film and television as Host of “G4 Sports: Training Camp”. As Host, Eddie brings together videogame players and athletes from all major sports arenas including football, basketball, baseball, hockey, boxing and more.

In 2016, Geroge was cast as Billy Flynn in the Broadway production of Chicago, one of the many roles he's taken on in his transformation from running back to renaissance man.
