Founder at Women Business Collaborative; Award-Winning Diversity Practitioner & Co-Author of "Women Mean Business"

Edie Fraser is a recognized business leader, gender and diversity advocate, and philanthropist and has received more than 75 major awards for her leadership for Gender and Diversity, women’s entrepreneurship, STEM, and Leadership. She serves as Chair and a former Founder and the first CEO of Women Business Collaborative (WBC), the women's business movement, a non-profit to accelerate Equal Position, Pay, and Power for all businesswomen with more than 83+ Organization partners and committed to change. WBC commits to Nine Action Initiatives and Companies of Purpose. Fraser is a Founding member of 200 and after 41 years is still active and serves on its board of directors and received the first-ever C200 Lifetime Achievement award in 2023. Fraser spent 14 years as Managing Director, of Diversified Search and Founder and CEO of STEMconnector® and Million Women Mentors®(MWM)--with 2.5 million commitments to mentor.

As a consummate entrepreneur, Fraser built three companies and several movements. She has served on boards, was inducted into the Enterprising Women Hall of Fame and the EW Legacy Award, and serves as a Vice Chair of the EW Foundation. She received the Mosaic Award from Diversity Woman and Diversity Woman Lifetime Achievement Legacy Award and the Gillian Rudd NAWBO Business Leadership Award and served as leader since its inception. She was the first woman Chair of the World Affairs Council of DC.

Fraser was Founder and CEO of Public Affairs Group working with 250 Fortune companies, advancing best practice programs on women and diversity leadership. The company included Diversity Best Practices (DBP), the Business Women’s Network(BWN), and Best Practices in Corporate Communications. She started in the Peace Corps and was a Desk Officer for Africa, working decades to support government and the private sector to support key issues of the day.

Her books include Women Mean Business with Robyn Spizman and Andi Simon (fall 2023); Do Your Giving While You’re Living with Robyn Spizman), and Women’s Entrepreneurship in America. In 2015, she released “Advancing a Jobs Driven Economy with STEMconnector® and WOW Facts and Women’s Quick Facts. She produced many books and reports related to diversity, including The Chief Diversity Officer and The Diversity Primer.
