Prior to his 2007 launch of PartyPail, which operates seven e-commerce sites focused on supplies and ideas for parties and celebrations, Edward Hechter was executive vice president and general manager of WebsitePros (now Web.com), where he was responsible for the company’s e-commerce and web site services business.

During his eight-year tenure, his team built over 500,000 web sites for small businesses, and custom-built thousands of e-commerce stores on a variety of platforms including Yahoo Stores, Miva, ProStores, and Amazon. With experience as a technology and e-commerce service provider and an e-commerce store operator, he brings the perspective of both to the challenges that store owners have in building an online business.
