Research Product Manager at Facebook; Virtual Reality Expert & Entrepreneur

Edward Miller is a research product manager at Facebook, a position he has held since January of 2020. In that role, Miller works on building the future of 3D maps.

Prior to beginning his role at Facebook, Miller co-founded Scape Technologies, which he also served as CEO of. Scape Technologies was ultimately acquired by Facebook.

In 2014, Edward notably produced "Hong Kong Unrest," the first 360-degree news documentary designed for virtual reality, which covered the Hong Kong pro-democracy protests. Later in 2015, Edward co-founded Medical Realities, a new startup based upon medical training in virtual reality.

Before founding Scape Technologies, Miller was an independent VR & Interactive Imagery Specialist, creating Virtual & Augmented Reality content for clients such as BBC, UEFA, NHS, Royal Shakespeare Company, Vogue, ESPN, NBC Universal, Press Association, and the Daily Mail.

Miller holds bachelor's degrees in psychology and philosophy from the University of Sheffield.
