He has led this Fortune 500 Corporation through a remarkable period of growth from just two stores in upstate New York to 800 DICK’s Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy, and Field & Stream stores.

His numerous recognitions include the Force for Good honor from the Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose in 2019; being named a Groundbreaker at the New York Times 2018 DealBook Conference; “Sports Executive Visionary of the Year,” Ernst & Young; “History Makers Award for Business & Industry,” Heinz History Center; induction into National Sporting Goods Association Hall of Fame.

Mr. Stack serves on the Board of Directors of the National Retail Federation and the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Advisory Board of Wharton’s Jay H. Baker Retailing Initiative.
