Eli Finkel is a Professor of Management and Organizations (MORS). He earned his BA (1997) from Northwestern and his PhD (2001) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He joined the faculty in Northwesterns Psychology department in 2003, and he joined the MORS faculty in 2013. He has published over 100 scholarly papers in leading outlets such as Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Psychological Bulletin, and Psychological Science, and this work has been widely discussed in prominent forums such as the New York Times, The Economist, and the Wall Street Journal. He publishes Op-Ed pieces in the New York Times and feature articles in Scientific American Mind. In recognition of his scholarship, Professor Finkel has received ~$1,000,000 in grant funding and several prestigious awards.
