Elianna is a change maker known for her commitment to poverty alleviation across the world. She is a co-Founder Director of Step Up Enterprises, a recently launch social enterprise working to make micro and small social enterprises investment ready and able to achieve sustainable and scalable impact. Having completed almost five years working with the Aga Khan Foundation, Elianna is committed to development and social impact. She has developed substantial experience working in rural development programmes for some of the poorest communities in the global south. As president and co-founder of GenevaWISE, Elianna has been working to improve access for youth in developing countries to internship opportunities in Geneva, in order to improve their effectiveness as development professional when they return to their home countries. Elianna is a committee member of Human Rights Watch and has created a mobilized a Human Rights Watch youth committee in Geneva. Born in Canada, Elianna has lived, worked and studied on four continents. Elianna has an LLB Law from the University of Kent UK and a BA from the McGill University (Canada)
