Elias Mendoza is currently a Partner at UNION SQUARE ADVISORS. Prior to joining Union Square Advisors, Mr. Mendoza was Vice President and Global Head of Corporate Development at IBM. In this role at IBM, Mr. Mendoza led the organizations that identified, executed and integrated all acquisitions, investments and divestitures for the company on a worldwide basis. Prior to that, Mr. Mendoza spent three years as Managing Director for IBM's acquisitions and investments in the Growth Markets and Japan. Mr. Mendoza's previous experience includes over twelve years spent at Morgan Stanley & Co., most recently as an Executive Director in the Investment Banking Division. During his tenure at Morgan Stanley, Mr. Mendoza served in New York, London and Tokyo and was involved in a wide range of cross-border mergers and acquisitions activity with major multi-national corporations, as well as in significant activity with major private equity firms. Mr. Mendoza received a Landegger Program Certificate in International Business Diplomacy and an MBA from Georgetown University. He received his AB. from Princeton University.
