Engineer Turned Motivational Educator & "Multipliers" Master Practitioner at The Wiseman Group

Early in her career, Elise Foster was happy as an engineer, managing high-profile global projects to solve complicated problems. But, it wasn’t long before she realized she wanted to solve different types of problems. Today, Elise is the co-author of The Multiplier Effect: Tapping the Genius Inside Our Schools and a leadership coach who enables leaders to unlock their potential and achieve even greater success.

She is known for delivering engaging and impactful workshops and keynotes for both education and business leaders. She has more than 15 years of engineering and organizational development experience across Cummins, Inc., Harvard University, and Indiana University. She has coached leaders across industries, including bio-tech, energy, and higher education. As well, she has designed and delivered leadership programs for as many as 900 participants. Elise guides senior leaders on using their intelligence to make everyone around them smarter and more capable.

Elise has taught and coached students at Indiana University (Kelley School of Business) and as a management fellow at Harvard University. She holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Masters in Education from Harvard University.

She is currently an advisory board member for the Center for the Enhancement of Engineering Diversity at Virginia Tech, the co-chair of the Cincinnati Harvard Club Schools Committee, as well her daughter’s Girl Scout Troop leader. In the recent past, she served on the Lilly Endowment Scholarship Selection Committee for Bartholomew County (Indiana), as well as serving as a co-founder of the Spanish Learning Center (Columbus, IN).

Her client list includes: Roche Diagnostics, eBay/Paypal, Gates Corporation, AT&T, Gwinnett County Public Schools, and Denver Executive Forum, among many others. She has spoken in the US, Europe, and Asia.
