Elke Reichart, graduate of the ‘German School of Journalism’, Munich, started writing for daily newspapers and magazines. From 1984 till 1989, she worked as a freelancer in Cape Town/South Africa, back home she produced documentaries for the television network ZDF. Today, Elke Reichart is author for dtv-Reihe Hanser, her books cover current socio-political topics like ‘friendship in time of internet’ or ‘migration’. Her latest book about ‘respect today’ will be presented on the Frankfurt Book Fair 2015. Elke Reichart lives with her family near the lake Starnberger See, south of Munich.
