Ella started her blog "Deliciously Ella" two years ago as a way of dealing with a relatively rare illness, Postural Tachycardia Syndrome, which she was diagnosed with in September 2011. The illness had a profound effect on her life, limiting mobility and causing chronic fatigue and pain. When other avenues of treatment did little to help her condition, began researching natural, holistic approaches. Overnight she took up a whole foods, plant-based diet and gave up all meat, dairy, sugar and gluten.

Changing her diet allowed her to take control of her illness, stopping the constant pain and restoring her energy. Just eighteen months after starting this lifestyle she was able to come off all my medication.

She uses her blog to share the meals she creates as part of her new lifestyle. Her recipes feature sumptuous desserts, delicious dips, raw treats and rainbow bowls of incredible veggies, all made with nature’s most natural ingredients.

Ella graduated from St Andrews with a Masters in Art History in May 2013 and has now returned to London. She recently released her best-selling app earlier this year featuring her recipes. Her first cookbook was published in January 2015. She is currently training as a naturopathic nutritionist at the College of Naturopathic Medicine.
