Ellen Miles is an American author known for the the Puppy Place and Kitty Corner series of children's books. She is also also the author of the unauthorized Santa Paws series of books under the name Kris Edwards.

Miles was born in New York City and grew up in New York. She is a lover of outdoors and reading. She began writing the Puppy Place series due to her love of dogs.
